Floorbrite’s Window Cleaning Department is one of the largest in terms of manpower and contracts serviced, within the Northwest and Yorkshire regions. The department currently operate at over 200 sites on a periodic basis, as well as conducting one off industrial and specialist cleans. Periodic cleans can range in frequency from static sites where men are based permanently, to weekly or other set frequencies, and even annual deep cleans.

As well as an office based department Manager responsible for scheduling, administration and contract management, our Window Cleaning Operations Manager, who has over 20 years experience in all aspects of the industry, oversees and supervises all site work. Health & Safety is of paramount importance to us; as such the department is qualified and competent in all of the following -

• PASMA – Mobile Access Towers
• National Plant Operator – MEWP
• IPAF / Self Propelled Scissor Lift
• Level 2 – Rope Access Supervisory
• CIEH – Supervising Health & Safety
• IOSH – Working Safely At Height
• NEBOSH - General Certificate
• Emergency First Aid
• Use of BMU & Atrium Gantry Systems

Floorbrites main areas of expertise lie in the following methods of work -

• Abseiling and other high level suspended rope access work
• Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP), including ‘Cherry pickers’, vertical scissor lifts and spiders etc (Floorbrite’s own 30 metre ‘Cherry Picker’ is also available for hire)
• Cleaning and maintenance from suspended access platforms, fixed and semi-permanent cradles
• Cleaning from ground level including ‘Reach & Wash’ systems, extendible pole and ladder work where appropriate
