During the first six years after opening we tried both in house and contracted out cleaning services, without success. We really struggled to provide the cleaning standards that are required for a prestigious and diverse building such as The Lowry. However since the appointment of Floorbrite the standards have improved considerably and I can now say for the first time in nearly eight years we have reached the standards that we aspire to.We have worked hard with Floorbrite to get the correct team on site who are managed extremely well by the On-Site Manager. To back this up we have weekly meetings with the Service Manager who offers support to the contract and deals with any issues outside the Site Managers remit. As with any contractor you can expect problems. This I expect but what I look for is the speed in which the contractor responds to the problems. Again I have to state that when we have had any issues with Floorbrite, being cleaning issues or staff, they have dealt with them swiftly and efficiently.
